SINOPSIS

Masa Madre es una serie documental de cuatro episodios que explora la historia del pan y las luchas sociales que esconde desde una perspectiva de género.

Desde el desarrollo de la agricultura, las mujeres fueron las encargadas de la producción de alimentos para sus familias. Privadas durante la mayor parte de la historia del derecho a la educación y excluidas de la vida política, las mujeres fueron confinadas por el patriarcado a la esfera doméstica. A partir de ahí, y con la tarea esencial de alimentar a su gente, crearon lazos de resistencia transmitidos de madres a hijas de generación en generación.

Masa Madre destaca la historia de aquellas mujeres que alimentaron a la humanidad desde el principio de los tiempos.

SYNOPSIS

Mother Dough is a four-episode documentary series that explores the history of bread and the social struggles it hides from a gender perspective. 

Since the development of agriculture women were the ones in charge of food production for their families. Deprived through most of History from the right to an education and banned from political life, women were confined by patriarchy to the domestic sphere. From there, and with the essential task of feeding their people, they created sorority bonds of resistance, transmitted from mothers to daughters through generations. 

Mother Dough highlights the History of those women who fed humankind since the beginning of times.
